IRC Notify Command

You can automatically track when someone connects to an IRC network with the /notify command, which asks the server to let you know when another user, perhaps one of your friends, logs on.

/notify steve

When steve logs on, the server will send you a message so you know when to send him a message saying hello if you wish.
