Listserv Use - Sending

To send an email to everyone subscribed to a list, send it to the list address, such as:

garden@twenty.net

You can specify whether you want to receive acknowledgements of your list postings by sending the set command to the server address:

set <listname> repro

You can turn acknowledgements off to minimize your email with the following command:

set <listname> norepro

You can specify that you want just an acknowledgement of your postings, instead of a copy of the whole message, with the following command:

set <listname> ack

You can turn the acknowledgements off with the following command:

set <listname> noack
