Advanced Listproc - Digest

By default you receive each email sent to the list when it is sent. On high volume lists many people choose to set their subscription to digest mode, so that they receive only one email a day consolidating all the emails sent to the list in that time period:

set <listname> digest

To switch from digest mode back to regular mode, issue:

set <listname> mail ack

If you are in digest mode and would like a copy of the current digest in the middle of the day before the final version is sent, you can turn off digest mode with mail ack and then immediately back to digest mode:

set <listname> mail ack

set <listname> digest
